Swedish soldier dies while on duty at Life Guards regiment

A soldier has died while on duty at the Life Guards regiment in Kungsängen, north of Stockholm, Swedish public broadcaster SVT reports.

The death occurred on Sunday, according to the report. Jenny Ringström, head of communications at the Life Guards, told newspaper Expressen that there is “no suspicion of crime or accident.”

The Life Guards is a Swedish Army infantry regiment responsible for protecting the royal family and providing ceremonial duties.
