Serious collision on Highway 2 leaves two vehicles on same side of central barrier
A car and a truck collided early Thursday on Highway 2 in Satakunta, western Finland, with both vehicles ending up on the same side of the central barrier, reports public broadcaster Yle.
The accident occurred between Harjavalta and Nakkila on a four-lane section of the highway. Emergency services received the alert shortly before 4 a.m.
Duty officer Tuomas Kiskola of the Satakunta Rescue Department confirmed that both vehicles were in the lanes heading toward Pori at the time of the crash. Authorities have not yet disclosed whether there were any injuries.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
