Naked man on cross-country ski trail shocks Norwegian cabin resort
A naked man was seen walking along a cross-country ski trail in the popular Norwegian cabin resort of Skeikampen in Innlandet county on Saturday, startling hikers—including children—during the Easter holiday, reports local newspaper Gudbrandsdølen Dagningen.
Multiple witnesses in a local Facebook group confirmed encountering the man, who was completely unclothed, according to the paper. Parents of children who saw him described the incident as deeply unsettling.
“The children were skiing alone for the first time. We’ll be going with them from now on,” one parent told Gudbrandsdølen Dagningen. They added that the man approached the children, passed them, then turned back a second time. “This is not okay.”
Innlandet police district told the newspaper they had not received any reports about the incident.
Skeikampen, known for its extensive ski trails and reliable snow conditions, is a popular destination for Easter cabin stays.
