Faroese parliament maintains equal gender representation with ten women elected

The Faroese parliament, the Løgting, will again have ten women among its 33 members following this year’s election, matching the number from the 2022 vote, public broadcaster Kringvarp Føroya reports.

Despite some turnover in membership, the share of women representatives remains unchanged. The newly and re-elected women are:
