The Faroese public prosecutor’s office is running its childcare facility out of a kitchen, according to a report by national broadcaster Kringvarp Føroya.

During a visit to Pollastova in Sørvágur, where the current and potentially future public prosecutors reside, reporters found the so-called barnaheimið—a designated childcare space for employees—located in the building’s kitchen.

The report highlights the improvised nature of the arrangement, which appears to serve as both a workspace and a makeshift childcare solution for staff.
