Irish prime minister to visit Finland for talks with Orpo and Stubb

The prime minister of Ireland, Micheál Martin, will visit Finland next week for meetings with Prime Minister Petteri Orpo and President Alexander Stubb, according to a statement from the Finnish government.

The visit, scheduled for Tuesday in Helsinki, will focus on Ireland’s upcoming presidency of the Council of the European Union, set to begin in July, as well as current international issues, the government’s communications office reported.

No further details on the agenda have been released.
