Sweden’s justice minister has addressed a wave of gun violence after five shootings occurred across the country in as many days, leaving four people dead, SVT Nyheter reports.
Speaking in a live broadcast, Justice Minister Gunnar Strömmer (Moderate Party) commented on the recent surge in shootings, which took place in Örebro, Huddinge, Solna, Malmö, and Tyresö.
The incidents follow a pattern of fatal gun violence, with authorities yet to confirm whether the cases are linked. Strömmer did not provide further details on potential motives or suspects.
