Young man dies in early morning crash in Ylöjärvi

A 20-year-old man died in a single-vehicle accident in Ylöjärvi, western Finland, early Saturday after driving off the road, reports Finnish public broadcaster Yle. Police suspect drunk driving and dangerous traffic violations.

The crash occurred around 4:30 AM on Metsätie road in the Kuru area of Ylöjärvi. According to police, the man died at the scene. A passing motorist alerted emergency services after witnessing the vehicle leave the road at high speed.

Antti Uusipaikka, a criminal inspector with the Central Finland Police, confirmed no other vehicles were involved at the time of the accident. Authorities are seeking additional information from anyone who may have encountered a speeding car in the area during the early morning hours.
