A Helsinki district court has convicted two former board members of Oma Säästöpankki, including its former vice chair, of misusing insider information, reports Finnish news agency STT.

The ruling follows charges brought against three former board members in 2025 for alleged insider trading violations. One defendant had previously claimed that purchasing the shares in question was an obligation.

The case remains under development, with further details expected to emerge.
