Police cordon off Malmö area over suspected dangerous object
Police have sealed off part of central Malmö after reports of a potentially hazardous item, Swedish public broadcaster SVT Nyheter reports.
The area around Södra Förstadsgatan near the Triangeln district was cordoned off early Tuesday. Authorities stated on their website that an object found outdoors “cannot currently be dismissed as harmless.”
Further details have not yet been released. Police have indicated the situation is under investigation.
