The Ölfusá bridge in southern Iceland has been closed to all traffic due to structural safety concerns, national broadcaster RÚV reports.
Inspections revealed significant deterioration in the bridge’s support structures, prompting immediate closure. Authorities have not yet announced when the bridge will reopen or what repairs may be required.
