Iceland’s national university hospital extends health measures amid rising COVID-19 cases
Health measures implemented at the National University Hospital of Iceland last week will remain in effect. These actions were initiated following the detection of COVID-19 cases across eight departments, which rapidly spread among staff and patients.
This morning, officials confirmed that mask mandates will continue for all interactions with patients and that visitor access will be limited. The situation will be reassessed in one week.
