Authorities search for foreign tourists using drone in Bø, Norway

Authorities were on the lookout for two foreign tourists who were using a drone in the village of Bø. It is prohibited to operate drones in populated areas, and Bø is located within a five-kilometer radius of the local airport.

The tourists dismantled their drone promptly when law enforcement arrived on the scene. No fines were issued, and the drone was not confiscated. According to the police, such drone activity occurs almost daily during the summer months, primarily for photography purposes.
