Fire breaks out in garage on Kambsvegur near Sæbraut in Reykjavik

A fire broke out in a garage on Kambsvegur, close to Sæbraut, at approximately 12:20 PM today. An elderly man was inside the garage when the flames ignited but was able to escape on his own. He has since been transported to a hospital for medical attention; however, his current condition remains unknown.

The emergency response team from the capital city arrived shortly after the incident occurred around noon. The firefighting efforts have mostly concluded, according to local authorities.
