One-third of Faroese residents in Denmark qualified in health and education sectors

One-third of Faroese residents living in Denmark have qualifications in the health and care sectors. Recent statistics reveal that 258 individuals hold degrees in early childhood education or youth services, with most of them being educators.

She acknowledges the association’s role in facilitating their return to the Islands, emphasizing the need for strategies to attract qualified educators back home to address the growing needs in local communities.
