The eruption at the Sundhnúk volcanic system continues to exhibit steady activity, similar to previous days. Recently, the Icelandic Meteorological Office reported that lava is primarily flowing southeast towards Sandhóll and Fagradalsfjall. Current forecasts indicate a light northeast wind at the eruption sites, which may lead to detectable gas pollution in the town of Grindavík and its surrounding areas today.
