Negotiations ongoing to avert doctors’ strike in Iceland

Meanwhile, talks are also underway regarding a separate dispute involving teachers. Upcoming strikes affecting educators are scheduled to begin tomorrow at multiple schools in Iceland. The government mediator has placed a media ban on this negotiation process but acknowledged some movement in discussions.
