Upcoming negotiations to focus on salary in Faroe Islands

The primary focus of upcoming negotiations will be salary, according to the chairwoman of the Healthcare Workers’ Union in the Faroe Islands.

Mary Antonsdóttir stated that both the Healthcare Workers’ Union and the Local Government Employers’ Association exchanged their demands for the contract talks yesterday. She emphasized that the union also prioritizes ensuring its members are kept up to date during the process.

The previous agreement with the Healthcare Workers’ Union expired on October 1, but members will continue to operate under its terms until a new contract is established.
