Traffic disruptions at Fútaklett lead to temporary closure of Vágatun tunnel in Faroe Islands

Traffic disruptions are currently occurring at Fútaklett, leading to the temporary closure of the Vágatun tunnel for all westbound vehicles.

While it remains possible to drive from Vágur to Streymoy in order to ease the congestion at Fútaklett, authorities have not yet confirmed when the tunnel will reopen for eastbound traffic.
