Coalition formed between Social Democratic Party and Union Party in Vág

A coalition has been formed in the municipality of Vág between the Social Democratic Party and the Union Party. The agreement between the two parties will be signed today.

Levi Mørk, the lead candidate from the Social Democratic Party, has announced that he will also serve as the new mayor of Vág as part of this agreement.

The Republican Party emerged as the largest party in the recent municipal elections, securing four seats. Arni Brattaberg, the top candidate on the Republican ticket, will take the lead in convening the newly elected council, during which the mayor and deputy mayor will also be elected.
