Mayor Eyðbjørn Thomsen re-elected in Sumba, Faroe Islands

The mayor of Sumba, Eyðbjørn Thomsen, has secured another term after serving in the position for the past 12 years.

Thomsen confirmed that an agreement has been reached for him to continue as mayor, with Jacoba í Homrum stepping in as deputy mayor.

In the recent elections, Thomsen garnered the most votes, totaling 67, while Homrum received 40, placing her in second.
