Four political parties form new majority in Klaksvík city council

Four political parties in the municipality of Klaksvík have reached an agreement to form a new majority in the city council. The parties involved are Sambandsflokkurin, Tjóðveldi, Javnaðarflokkurin, and Sjálvstýri.

Karl Johansen will continue to serve as the mayor, while Annika Biskopstø has been appointed as the new deputy mayor representing Tjóðveldi.

Although a coalition agreement has yet to be drafted, the majority has already begun dividing committee positions.

Further discussions took place in a recent radio interview where Johansen shared insights on the new leadership dynamics.
