Accident claims life on Luovontie in Hailuoto, Finland

A serious accident occurred on Luovontie in Hailuoto this morning involving a passenger car and a truck. Authorities have reported that the driver of the car tragically lost their life as a result of the collision. According to the regional rescue service, the incident took place when a car traveling from Hailuoto collided with the front of a truck. The site of the accident is situated approximately three kilometers from the Hailuoto ferry terminal. Due to the ongoing rescue and cleanup operations, traffic on Luovontie has been halted. Motorists are being redirected through alternative routes to bypass the crash scene.
