Jógvan í Skorini leads election for new mayor of Eiði in the Faroe Islands

Jógvan í Skorini is poised to become the new mayor of Eiði, should he choose to accept the position, as he secured a clear lead in the recent election. His party, List A, claimed four seats on the municipal council, while the competing List B earned three seats.

Additionally, it’s worth noting that Tove Kruse Samuelsen, from List A, was the only woman among the six candidates elected to the council.
