Suðurstreymoy Self-Governance Association Established with Inaugural Board

The Suðurstreymoy Self-Governance Association was established last night.

The inaugural board comprises Jóhan Marni Stenberg, Randi Meitil, and Eyðun Mørkøre, with Olaf á Stongunum serving as the deputy representative.

The board has already organized itself, with Jóhan Marni Stenberg taking on the role of chairman, Randi Meitil as vice-chairwoman, and Eyðun Mørkøre as the secretary.

Eyðun Mørkøre will represent the association in the national committee for self-governance.

Efforts are now underway to establish self-governance associations in Norðstreymoy, Vágur, and Sandur.
