Faroe Islands

It has been two years since the groundbreaking project began, focusing on collaboration among municipalities, government agencies, and families.

The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child serves as the foundation for a collective approach, ensuring that it applies to all procedures related to children in the Vágur region. Magnus Tausen, a representative of the Education Agency and a member of the project group, emphasized the importance of this framework.

The collaboration involves Sørvágur and Vágar municipalities, along with their respective institutions, and national agencies including Nám, Sernám, the Education Agency, SSP, and Gigni.

An audio interview with Magnus Tausen is available for further insights on the project’s impact and objectives.
