Mohamad Kourani sentenced to eight years in prison for stabbing attack in Reykjavik

Mohamad Kourani has been sentenced to eight years in prison for a stabbing attack at an OK store, along with multiple other offenses. The ruling was issued by the Reykjavik District Court just after 11 am.
In addition to his prison sentence, Kourani was ordered to pay 4,814,365 krona in legal costs, as well as two separate compensation payments of one and a half million and 750,000 krona respectively, plus interest. The knife blade and handle found in his possession were also confiscated.
