Negotiations continue amid ongoing strikes at schools and preschools in Sweden

Negotiations are currently taking place at the state mediator’s office involving representatives from teachers’ unions and local municipalities, although no formal negotiation meetings have been held today. A similar setup occurred yesterday, where the focus was on groups negotiating with the government.

As reported, a strike has begun at nine schools, with an indefinite strike at four preschools. Three primary schools are on strike until November 22, while one secondary school and one music school will strike until December 20, unless an agreement is reached prior to those dates.
