OP resolves online service disruptions affecting users in Finland

On Tuesday, OP’s online services experienced disruptions, which have now been resolved, allowing services to operate mostly as normal, the bank announced on its messaging service X. OP indicated that its experts are closely monitoring the situation.

On Tuesday evening, users trying to log into the mobile banking application encountered an error message. The issue affected both the mobile app and the online banking service accessed via browsers. Furthermore, OP reported that Visa Basic cards were also out of service.

According to the Downdetector website, the disruptions began around 5 PM. OP previously stated that there were no indications of a denial-of-service attack in relation to the outage.
