Icelandic municipalities adopt free meals in primary schools

Over a hundred municipalities in Iceland have implemented free meals in primary schools, with most financing these programs through local budgets. In a recent council meeting of Ísafjörður, it was revealed that the municipality allocates approximately 4 million ISK annually to support this initiative.
