On Tuesday morning, the property owner of a local newsroom discovered that a window had been broken into. Upon arrival, the reporter confirmed that a laptop, two mobile phones, and an iPad had been stolen, according to Olle Palm, the deputy editor for SVT Nyheter Skåne.

Authorities have been notified about the incident, and SVT’s security team is now involved and will take appropriate actions. Palm noted that there is currently no known threat against the newsroom.

“It appears to be an ordinary burglary; there is no damage to the premises beyond what has been stolen,” he stated. Until the window is repaired, reporters will continue their work from SVT’s main office in Malmö.
