Fundraising setback for Red Cross in Denmark as donation total remains incomplete

The fundraising event organized by the Red Cross faced a setback last night, resulting in an incomplete total for the donations received, and the drawing for the car has not yet taken place.

However, it’s clear that the campaign generated at least 3.4 million Danish kroner.

“A data system, which was supposed to gather donations, failed,” said Eva Skeel Nolsøe, head of customer service at Føroya Tele.

There was also some confusion among contributors about how to assist the cause, which further complicated the fundraising efforts.
