Anniversary celebration held for Blákrossheimið in Nes with new leader Anna Háberg

Today marked the 40th anniversary of the Blákrossheimið, celebrated with a gathering at the facility in Nes. The event also served as a public reception for the new leader of the home, Anna Háberg.
“In my new role, I aim to see the value in each individual,” Háberg stated during the ceremony.
The celebration included refreshments, with cake being served to attendees. Approximately 200 individuals receive treatment at Blákrossheimið annually. The former acting leader, Leivur á Lakjuni, welcomed guests at the event.
