Ingilín D. Strøm resigns as Minister of the Environment amid no confidence motion in Tjóðveldi party
Yesterday, Ingilín D. Strøm announced her resignation as Minister of the Environment after it became clear that two coalition partners in the Tjóðveldi party would vote in favor of a motion of no confidence against her.

The influx of drugs into the country has reached unprecedented levels. This is confirmed by Heri Andreassen, deputy police inspector and head of the investigation department at the police, in relation to another drug-related case.
Over the past two years, law enforcement and customs authorities have discovered record amounts of drugs. During this same period, a comprehensive plan with 58 recommendations for preventing and curbing drug abuse has largely remained untouched.
