Salvation Army celebrates 100th anniversary with events in Denmark

The Salvation Army is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. The festivities will take place from October 23 to 27, featuring various events and meetings.

According to Bernhard Højgaard Petersen, a sergeant major in the Salvation Army, this anniversary prompts reflection: “This birthday is an opportunity for us to ask ourselves: What will we do in another hundred years, and where will we be then?”

This significant milestone highlights the enduring mission of the organization in the community and its impact over the past century.
