Children in Holmsund, Umeå, affected by mysterious gastrointestinal illness

A number of children at a school in Holmsund, Umeå, have been affected by a mysterious gastrointestinal illness. Most of the students impacted are in preschool and first grade. The school’s principal, Henrik Arctaedius, stated that the nature of the illness is difficult to determine. He mentioned that some children have experienced nausea and vomiting while at school in the mornings.
