Helsinki Book Fair opens with theme of the future featuring over 1,500 participants
The Helsinki Book Fair opens today, featuring the theme of “The Future.” Over the course of this four-day event, more than 1,500 authors, influencers, artists, and decision-makers will take to the stages of the Messukeskus exhibition center. Attendees can expect nearly a thousand discussions, interviews, and book presentations throughout the fair. Additionally, a prize will be awarded to promote the book industry.
The Helsinki Book Fair was first held in 2001. In conjunction with the book fair, the Messukeskus is simultaneously hosting several other events, including a Record Fair, a Stamp Fair, and an Antiquarian Book Fair. Visitors can also explore the food and drink event “Wine & Food” and the “Plate 2024” event.
