The chairman of the parliamentary committee on government affairs, Hans Jacob Thomsen, met with the parliamentary group of the Social Democrats and Aksel V. Johannesen, the Prime Minister and leader of the Social Democrats, regarding the complaint concerning Ingilín D. Strøm, the Minister of Health.
The committee convened to discuss the complaint at nine this morning, where it became clear that Bárður á Steig Nielsen, representing the Union Party, is staunchly maintaining the decision initially made regarding Ingilín D. Strøm.
The other two members of the committee, Hans Jacob Thomsen and Hanna Jensen from the Centre Party, have since discussed the matter, but it remains uncertain whether they will also uphold the committee’s position on the issue.
It is also unclear if a final decision will emerge from the committee today.
A parliamentary session is scheduled for 11 AM, but it is evident that no proposal for a vote of no confidence against Ingilín D. Strøm will be presented in the parliament today.
