The iconic Kópakonan statue and the memorial stone erected for James Bond continue to attract a significant number of visitors to Kalsoy. According to recent reports, over 30,000 people have visited the gravestone dedicated to James Bond, while the Kópakonan remains a major draw for tourists to the island.

The demand for enhanced connectivity comes as the number of tourists increases, highlighting the need for better infrastructure to support the growing interest in Kalsoy’s unique attractions.
