Individuals to see increase in income pension starting new year in Sweden

Individuals currently receiving 17,700 kronor in income pension will see an increase of over 700 kronor starting from the new year. The guaranteed pension, which is indexed to inflation through the price base amount, will be adjusted by 2.6 percent. For those eligible for both the guaranteed pension and income pension, the overall increase will range from 2.6 to 4.0 percent.
