Fire breaks out at Pancho Villa restaurant in Tampere, Finland

A fire broke out on Saturday evening on Hämeenkatu in the center of Tampere. The incident occurred at the Pancho Villa restaurant, where flames spread from a deep fryer to the restaurant’s wall. Multiple units from the local fire department were dispatched to the scene. According to the Pirkanmaa rescue service, the fire was quickly brought under control. By around 7:30 PM, firefighters were still ventilating smoke and conducting follow-up monitoring. The rescue service assessed that the restaurant would likely not be in a condition to welcome customers again that day. The fire department received the alert at 6:52 PM.
