Households in Faroe Islands reach all-time high of 19,505

The number of households in the Faroe Islands has reached an all-time high of 19,505. This marks an increase of 297 households compared to the same period last year.

Notably, one in four households consists of a single individual, making this the largest demographic group in the region, according to data from Statistics Faroe Islands.

The second-largest category includes couples without children, totaling 4,887 households. Conversely, the smallest group comprises households with one adult and one child, amounting to 634 households.
